My Friends,
Thank you so much for such a lovely invitation.
I do plan on attending, and shall be sitting in the audience, just to the upper east side of the stage. If you do not get the opportunity to come and say hello, just look up…as I shall be there, smiling brightly and bursting with pride!
Gosh I wish I could tell in words how much I miss you 2. Yet, they have not developed such words yet. Please know that you are close to my heart and thought of often.
Please please be safe, smile as if the whole world was yours, for as women IT IS!!!!!!
Love you, Randi

The invite is really beautiful. The images in the invite look very tarot-isk :) , and the devania logo at the bottom looks simply superb!

Hi Jigyasa and Pratibha,
Hope the rehersals are polishing off the little rough edges. May Devaniya be an inspiration to all those who seek Harmony, Grace and Beauty through an expression of Dance. We will miss the show as we are away for a brief holiday at that time. All the very best for the Dance Recital, but will insist on the DVD of the programme.
Do keep in touch and may Mahasaraswati’s presence provide elegance and substance to the Programme.
Once again, may the humble beginning be a pointer to things to come.

Morning Sunshine, I have a message to the girls:
“Rock your Socks off with all the grace and beauty you possess within!
Allow your inner beauty shine, and the rest will be easy!!”
If the event is recorded, please forward me a link so that I may view it.
It is snowing again, and I must go feed his majesty. His whinnie has once beckoned his Gourmet Mash of oats, bran and alfalfa, mixed with love sugar, salt, sand clear (to help all pass regularly) and of course the Corta Flex scoop for athritis.

Dearest Jigyasa & Pratibha, You really know how to make a show seem so effortless. Though I can imagine the work that must have gone behind the scenes to produce something so stunning as Pratham.

Beautiful programme – Pratham. Dancers did so well and looked gorgeous. All the very best. You are doing a great job.

Pratham – Excellent Choreography. Superbly conducted. Punctuality maintained. And out-of-the-world performance. All in all, a great show. Thrilled to be part of this event.

Hi Jigyasa. Witnessed yet another aspect of your multiple talents in Pratham. The show was superb. Your girls did you proud. Avani was vivacious. Congratulations and god bless.
Thoroughly enjoyed.

Manisha Lohia December 14, 2009 at 8:26 pm

The experience of dancing in “Pratham’ was just exhilarating. I pay reverence to my mother who has always shown me from my younger years that I should dance for Beloved Lord Krishna and forget my own self , just like Meera bai was so much in love with Krishna that she was oblivious of her surroundings. Hence whenever I dance I always visualize krishna In front of me or sometimes dancing with me too. But this time during my practices for our dance recital , there was something which I learnt and shall always value it too. During our stage rehearsal there was a line said by Pratibhaji when we were on stage. She told all of us that we should focus and see right at the centre of the auditorium in front of us something / someone which / whom we really love while we are dancing. And that was it! I could not forget that till our performance day which made all the difference ‘coz I could actually behold Lord Krishna in front of me, while I danced with Him / for Him to my soul’s content…
Of course learning never stops! Jigyasa di would always correct me during my classes to look straight because I had a tendency to look down, but by implementing at the opportune moment what Pratibhaji had advised, I experienced immense pleasure.
Thanks Pratibhaji and of course Jigyasa di who has been such a lovely Guru and person. No words can express my joy and even the learning which she has been able to inculcate in me!

Wow…this site is beyond cool and spectacular! I am glad to be a part of Devaniya. Dance class is loads of fun, I wait for mondays and fridays. The dance show was a learning experience…we learned team work and how to be one unit and I personally think it went off amazingly! Thank you Mom and Pratibha Aunty :D .

Sujata June 28, 2012 at 8:37 am

Dear madam, I had spoken to you over the phone and since Adyar and Santhom are too far for me I would request to kindly take me into your alwarpet classes in your next available session. Kindly keep me posted.

Aishwarya February 5, 2013 at 9:51 pm

Hi mam,

As discussed over the call I would love to enroll in the Kathak Dance classes.

I am already Bharthnatiyam trained.

I have learnt Kathak for 6 months earlier in 2007) at Mylapore Jathiswaralaya but unfortunately couldn’t continue due to work reasons.

However I am looking forward to learn Kathak now and get formally trained in the precious dance form.

Please mail me details for the same.

I am from Madipakam Chennai and would be happy if I can enroll in the Saturday batch due to my work timings.

In case of no options left I will look into other batches.

But I am keen on getting trained at Devaniya!

Thank you very much.

Warm Regards,
